It’s Reallllly Official Now
On Monday we received notice from our adoption agency – CCAI – that our dossier has been accepted by the Chinese Adoption dept – CCAA – now, so we actually have a timeframe for waiting we can mostly count on. From the looks of things, we will receive notice that a baby girl has been assigned to us sometime in Nov 2006 and then we’ll go over to China either in Dec or Jan 2007.
How exciting is that? What are we going to do while we wait for 11 or 12 months? For one thing, we’re getting involved with the local Families with Children from China (FCC) group so that should help.
