Police line up time
Today we went to the Sherriff’s station down south to request Letters of Good Conduct (my capitalization). The adoption agencies like to see those since you can only get one if your police record over the last few years is clean. That makes sense, of course. We also made a request of our credit union to send CCAI a letter confirming our income and the usual balances on our accounts. That, IMO, is really none of their business as long as the checks we write them don’t bounce, but now that we’re this far I don’t have too many options. We really want a little girl to join our happy family, so….
Oh! Did I mention that my next thing is to get a physical exam? A complete one, including urinalysis. It’s like life in a gulag, I’m telling ya.
